Pre-Vet Club

Purpose:
Provide an opportunity for students to meet other pre-vet students and to become involved both professionally and socially while keeping members updated on requirements and admissions policies of Vet School.
Activities, Projects, Programs:
1. Each meeting has an educational program which features practicing veterinarians, faculty of the college, and other individuals to provide veterinary medicine insight.
2. Community service projects; highway clean up, humane society volunteer, zoo visitation and cleanup day, blood drive, volunteer at Flinthill's Breadbasket, Adoptathon at Animal Shelter, Science Fair, and Ag Careers Day, and Open House projects.
3. Activities include annual tour of the Vet School, necropsies, mock interviews, ice cream social, Christmas Party, Intramural Sports, and a trip to National Symposium of Pre-Vet students.
4. Fund raising activities include concession stand at KSU Football games, bake sale, College of Ag Telefund and t-shirt sales
